Fits RoboJet X-One, RJD3A, Duel 3, and Focus cordless vacuums; replaces OEM battery pack.
14.4V, 2600mAh capacity delivers 37.44Wh to restore full motor power output on aging units.
Slides onto the vacuum housing dock with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats with firm click.
Bench testing showed BMS accepted full charge cycle on first insertion; no fault codes or voltage sag under load.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades lithium cells fast; charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RoboJet X-One / Duel 3 / RJD3A — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Li-ion battery pack rated at 2600mAh (37.44Wh), built to fit the RoboJet X-One, RJD3A, Duel 3, and Focus cordless vacuums. It replaces original packs that have lost capacity or no longer hold a usable charge. Swap takes under a minute — no tools needed.

  • X-One, RJD3A, Duel 3, and Focus compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery platform, connector format, and BMS handshake protocol. One pack fits the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on an X-One unit. The BMS registered cell voltage correctly, accepted charge without error codes, and held steady voltage output under the motor's normal operating load.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the X-One: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. The X-One dock does not cut charge current once the pack reaches full — prolonged dock time causes trickle-charge stress that degrades cell capacity faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove it.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The X-One's motor draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter can push draw well above normal operating levels. The BMS detects the voltage sag and pulls back output to protect the cells, which the motor reads as low power. The suction feels weak even though the indicator still shows charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction restores immediately, the battery was never the problem.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor sustains a high-draw state — usually from a blocked filter or sustained contact with thick carpet — the BMS cuts output to prevent cell damage, then resets after a brief cooldown. It will keep repeating until the restriction is cleared. Check the filter and the intake path, then verify the resting pack voltage sits above 12.5V before concluding the battery is faulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my RoboJet X-One lose suction halfway through a clean even though the battery still shows charge?

A partially clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to sag output voltage — suction drops even though cells are not depleted. The battery indicator reads cell voltage, not motor load, so it still shows partial charge while performance falls. Clean the filter and check the intake for blockage. If suction returns to normal immediately after, the battery is fine.

The X-One motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then coming back on — is the battery failing?

That intermittent cut-out is a BMS overcurrent trip triggered by sustained restricted airflow, not a dead or failing pack. The BMS shuts output briefly to protect the cells, resets, then resumes — it will keep cycling until the load drops. Clear the filter and any blockage in the intake path first. If the cut-outs stop, check that resting pack voltage reads above 12.5V to confirm cell health.

The replacement battery charges fully but the X-One runs noticeably shorter than the original did when new — what causes that?

If the original pack spent long periods sitting on the dock continuously, the cells accumulated trickle-charge stress and the vacuum adapted to degraded output over time — the new pack is simply delivering what a healthy 2600mAh cell actually provides, which may feel different. If runtime is still shorter than expected, check whether the filter is partially restricted, since blocked airflow increases motor draw and depletes the pack faster than rated. Remove the battery from the dock once charging is complete and do not leave it docked between sessions.
