Goovi D380 / D382 / F007C — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Goovi D380, D382, and F007C cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original cell pack when capacity has faded or the battery no longer holds a charge. Voltage and connector match the original — no modification needed.

• D380, D382, and F007C compatibility: All three models share the same 14.4V battery rail and physical housing dimensions (69.40 × 37.00 × 37.00mm). The BMS communication on each uses the same handshake protocol, so one cell pack covers the full model group.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge cycles on the D380 platform and confirmed the BMS accepted charge input without fault flags, held voltage under sustained motor load, and tripped overcurrent protection correctly when airflow was deliberately restricted.
• Dock charging behaviour on the D380: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock charge keeps the cells in a trickle-charge state that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The D380 motor draws harder when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or full dustbin raises current demand beyond the rated draw. The BMS reads this as a voltage sag event and begins throttling power to the motor before the indicator LED signals low battery. The vacuum feels like it is running out of charge when the actual problem is restriction. Clear the filter and empty the bin first; if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to pull above the BMS current threshold, the protection circuit cuts output to prevent cell damage. The brief pause lets the BMS reset, which is why the vacuum restarts after 10–20 seconds. If the cutout repeats on every run, inspect the filter for embedded debris — a clogged filter is the most common trigger. A clean filter brings sustained current draw back within the 14.4V pack's rated limits.
