This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Tesvor robotic vacuum range. It fits the M1, S3, S4, and S6 Turbo, along with 13 additional models sharing the same battery bay and connector format. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a full cleaning cycle.
- M1, S3, S4 and S6 Turbo compatibility: These models run on the same 14.4V platform and use an identical connector and BMS handshake. One battery covers all of them because Tesvor standardised the cell format and communication protocol across this generation of robot vacuums.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the M1 dock. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, protection circuits tripped cleanly at undervoltage, and the cell delivered consistent output voltage through the discharge curve without early cutoff.
- Dock charging discipline for robot vacuums: Do not leave the Tesvor on its dock permanently. Robot vacuums that return to the dock after every run and stay connected indefinitely develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock or power the dock off until the next scheduled run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain suction. That elevated draw causes cell voltage to sag under load, and the BMS reads it as a low-voltage condition even though the battery still has charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction stabilises and the indicator stops dropping early, the filter was the cause, not the battery.
Motor cuts out mid-run and then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — from a blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or carpet fibres packed into the inlet — forces the motor to draw current beyond the BMS protection threshold. The BMS shuts the cell output down to protect the pack. After a short recovery period the BMS resets and the motor runs again. Clear the blockage, check the brush roll for wrapped debris, and confirm the filter is clean. If the cut-out stops after clearing, no battery fault exists.

My Tesvor M1 seems to run out of charge much sooner than it used to — could the dock be causing this?
Yes. Leaving a robot vacuum on its dock continuously after runs is one of the main causes of capacity fade in this battery format. The trickle charge from permanent dock contact degrades the cells faster than normal charge cycles. Charge to full and then disconnect the dock or power it off — do not let the vacuum sit plugged in between runs.
The suction feels weak even on a full charge — is this a battery fault?
Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current to maintain airflow, which causes voltage sag under load. The battery output drops under that elevated draw, and the vacuum behaves as if the pack is weak even when it is fully charged. Remove, clean, and reseat the filter before concluding the battery is at fault — a clean filter restores rated motor draw and the sag disappears.
The Tesvor is not charging on the dock after fitting the replacement battery — what should I check?
The charger expects a BMS handshake before it begins charging. If the dock light stays off or flashes an error, reseat the battery firmly to confirm the connector is fully engaged. Then place the robot squarely on the dock — misaligned dock pins prevent the charge circuit from initiating. If the light still does not respond, measure the dock output pins with a multimeter; they should read 16–17V DC when no handshake fault is present.
