This is not a fault in the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's voltage slope. After that cycle, percentage readouts stabilise and early shutdowns stop.

HUAWEI SuperCharge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

Huawei's proprietary fast charge protocol requires the charge IC to complete a handshake with the battery BMS before stepping up current. On a freshly installed cell, that handshake sometimes fails on the first connection — the phone defaults to standard 5V/1A charging and stays there for the entire session. Disconnect and reconnect the original Huawei charger after the phone has booted fully and the battery icon is visible.
