Kaily 310A / 310E — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This 14.4V, 3500mAh nickel-metal hydride battery replaces the original pack in the Kaily 310A and 310E cordless vacuum cleaners. It fits both the handheld and stick configurations of these units. Voltage and capacity match the factory spec directly from product data: 14.4V, 3500mAh (50.4Wh).

• 310A and 310E compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V platform and use the same physical pack format, connector orientation, and cell configuration. A single replacement covers either unit without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the 310A platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at the low-voltage threshold and did not trip during normal suction loads or filter-restricted draws.
• Dock charging habit on the 310A: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells in continuous trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH packs show voltage sag under load before the cell is actually depleted. On the 310A, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which accelerates this sag. The battery indicator reads the resting voltage, not the load voltage, so it can show mid-charge while the motor is already starved. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or dense carpet — the motor draws a sustained current spike that pushes past the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the pack, the motor stops, and the pack resets after the current drops. Clear the blockage and check that the filter is seated correctly before assuming the battery is faulty. A clean airpath keeps draw within the rated 14.4V operating window.
