Fits MyGenie XR210 and XR210 Nestor cordless stick vacuums; replaces OEM battery pack CS-KSB002VX.
This 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH cell restores full motor power to aging XR210 units losing suction capacity.
Battery slides into the handle grip slot with a single locking tab; connector seats flush to motor contacts.
We bench-tested this pack on the XR210 motor circuit; BMS accepted the charge without fault codes on first cycle.
Do not leave the XR210 on its charging dock permanently between uses — continuous dock charging degrades Ni-MH capacity significantly faster than charging only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyGenie XR210 / XR210 Nestor — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the MyGenie XR210 and XR210 Nestor cordless stick vacuums. It fits the handheld motor assembly directly and restores full suction power to units where the original cell has degraded. Capacity is 3500mAh (50.4Wh) — matched to the original specification.

  • XR210 and XR210 Nestor fit: Both models share the same 14.4V motor rail, battery bay dimensions, and connector orientation. The cell slots in without modification and communicates with the existing power circuit as the original does.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the XR210 platform. The BMS held stable across repeated motor-start draws, and voltage delivery stayed consistent through the full discharge curve without mid-cycle cutoff.
  • Dock charging habit on the XR210: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade faster under permanent trickle charge than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll has trapped debris, the motor draws above its rated current. Ni-MH cells respond to sustained high draw with a voltage dip that the motor controller reads as a depleted battery — even when the cell still holds charge. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll first. If suction recovers immediately, the cell is fine and the restriction was the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-clean, then restarts after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter — forces the motor to pull more current than the protection circuit allows. The BMS cuts the circuit to prevent cell damage, then resets after the cell temperature drops slightly. This cycle will repeat until the restriction is cleared. Wash or replace the filter, then confirm the resting cell voltage is at or above 14.4V before the next run.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XR210 loses suction well before the battery light comes on — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is almost certainly fine. On the XR210, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above rated current, which causes voltage to sag early — and the motor controller reads that sag as low battery. Clean or replace the filter first and retest. If suction holds across a full clean, the cell is working correctly.

The motor on my XR210 keeps cutting out and then coming back on after 30 seconds or so — what's happening?

That's the BMS tripping on overcurrent, then resetting once the cell cools slightly. It happens when restricted airflow — a clogged filter is the most common cause — makes the motor work harder than the protection circuit allows. Clear the blockage, wash the filter, and let it dry fully before the next use. If the cutouts stop, the cell and BMS are both functioning as they should.

My replacement battery developed noticeably shorter runtime after a few months — what caused it and can it recover?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause. Ni-MH cells left on a trickle charge indefinitely lose capacity significantly faster than cells charged only when depleted. Some capacity can recover through two or three full discharge-and-recharge cycles — run the vacuum until the motor slows noticeably, then charge fully and remove from the dock. Going forward, charge only when the battery is depleted and disconnect once full.
