Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Karcher FC7 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (9.013.772.0)
This 25.2V 2850mAh lithium-ion battery fits the Kärcher FC7 hard floor cleaner — the cordless machine that vacuums and washes simultaneously. It replaces OEM parts 9.013.772.0 and EO2321-00091774. Capacity figure comes from the product data, not a third-party estimate.
- FC7 platform fit: The FC7 runs a 25.2V cell stack to power both the suction motor and the water pump roller at the same time. That dual-load architecture draws more from the battery than a standard stick vac, so the BMS needs to handle combined current spikes — this cell is matched to that voltage rail and connector pinout.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the FC7 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, accepted a full charge without flag errors, and held voltage under the combined motor and pump load without tripping an overcurrent cutoff.
- FC7 dock charging habit: Do not leave the FC7 seated on its charging dock between every use. The FC7 dock does not stop pushing trickle current when the cell is full. Charge to full, then remove the machine from the dock — this alone slows capacity fade considerably.
Suction dropping on the FC7 before the battery indicator reaches low
The FC7 runs two loads — suction motor and roller pump — off the same cell. When the filter is partially blocked, the suction motor draws more current than rated to compensate. That elevated draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator expects, so suction feels weak while the battery gauge still shows mid-charge. The fix is to check and rinse the filter before assuming the battery is the problem. A clean filter restores normal draw and the indicator will track accurately again.
FC7 motor cuts out briefly then recovers mid-clean
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dying battery. When the roller or suction path is restricted — hair wrap on the brush roller is the most common cause — current spikes sharply and the BMS shuts the output to protect the cell. It resets within a few seconds, which is why the machine comes back on by itself. Clear the restriction, then check that the battery rests above 22V on a multimeter before continuing — a cell already weakened by capacity fade will trip the BMS sooner and more frequently.

Frequently Asked Questions
My FC7 suction feels weak even though the battery indicator still shows two bars — is the battery failing?
Not necessarily — a partially blocked filter forces the suction motor to draw above its rated current, which drags cell voltage down faster than the indicator tracks. Pull the filter out, rinse it under running water, and let it dry completely before reinserting. If suction returns to normal after that, the battery is fine. If suction is still weak with a clean filter and a fully charged cell, measure battery voltage at rest — it should read at or above 25.2V.
The FC7 powers off for a few seconds during cleaning then comes back on by itself — what's causing that?
That self-recovery cutout is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, usually caused by a restriction in the roller or suction path. Check for hair or debris wrapped around the brush roller first. Once the restriction is cleared, charge the battery fully and retest — a cell with significant capacity fade will hit the BMS current threshold sooner, so repeat trips after clearing blockages point to a battery that needs replacing.
The replacement battery won't charge on the FC7 dock — the charger light just flashes and stops.
A flashing charge light that stops usually means the charger did not get the expected BMS handshake from the new cell. Remove the battery, wait 60 seconds, and reseat it firmly — a poor contact on the dock pins causes the same symptom. If the light still flashes, connect the battery directly to the charger rather than through the dock, and confirm the cell voltage reads above 18V on a multimeter before attempting to charge; cells that have dropped below the BMS recovery threshold need a brief low-current wake charge first.
