Fits Nokia E11, E16 and replaces OEM battery BL-05 or LT828.
3.7V and 1200mAh deliver steady power for calls, messaging, and apps on the E11 platform.
Connector slides straight into the E11 slot with no locking tab — seat it flush and power on.
We bench-tested this cell on the E11 fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted the charge handshake without fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LAMTAM Nokia E11 / E16 / LT826 / LT828 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BL-05)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell sourced under the LAMTAM X-Longer series to replace the Nokia BL-05 battery. It fits the Nokia E11, E16, LT826, and LT828. Dimensions are 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm — match these against your existing cell before installing.

  • E11 / E16 / LT826 / LT828 platform fit: These four models share the same BL-05 form factor, 3.7V single-cell architecture, and connector pinout. One cell fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and load cycles on compatible hardware. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low voltage and accepted charge current without triggering protection lockout mid-cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the E11 after a cell swap

The Nokia E11's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the original cell in its coulomb counter. A new cell with different internal impedance causes the gauge to report 20–30% remaining when the actual cell voltage has already dropped near the BMS cutoff threshold. Under modem transmit load or screen brightness spikes, the voltage dips below 3.4V and the phone shuts down instantly. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard charge current — the fuel gauge IC will relearn the curve and the shutdowns will stop.

Phone shows wrong battery percentage after fitting the BL-05 replacement

After swapping to a new cell, the coulomb counter is still calibrated to the old cell's capacity and impedance profile. It will report inaccurate percentages — often jumping several points or freezing — until it completes a full cycle. Charge the phone to 100% via the standard charger, allow it to drain fully until shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% again. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise against the new 1200mAh cell at 3.7V nominal.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Nokia E11 powers on but shuts off the moment I open the camera or make a call — battery shows 25% still. Why?

This is a voltage cliff failure. The new cell cannot sustain voltage above 3.4V under the sudden current draw from the modem transmitting or the camera sensor initialising. The fuel gauge still shows 25% because it hasn't recalibrated to the new cell's impedance. Run two full discharge-charge cycles at standard charge current and the shutdowns will stop as the coulomb counter relearns the curve.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted this replacement battery in my E11 — the phone just trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after installation, many Nokia charge ICs won't negotiate fast charge with a new BMS until it has completed at least one standard charge cycle. The phone defaults to trickle current as a safety measure. Charge fully once at standard current, let the phone discharge normally, then charge again — fast charge negotiation typically resumes on the second or third cycle without any further action.

My E11 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in a drawer for a few months. The screen stays blank even on charge.

If the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, the BMS has locked out to prevent damage — the phone won't power on and the charge IC may not push current into a locked cell. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Most Nokia charge ICs will slowly trickle current past the BMS lockout threshold and recover the cell. If the charging indicator doesn't appear after 30 minutes, try a different cable and confirm the charger outputs at least 5V/1A.
