25.2V, 9000mAh lithium-ion delivers full blade torque on residential lawns without voltage sag midcycle.
Connector seats into the charging dock with a quarter-turn locking tab; ensure the tab clicks fully home.
We bench-tested this cell through five charge cycles; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes on the standard Lawnbott charger.
Before first use each spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temps are below 10C to prevent cold-start BMS cutoff under blade motor load.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lawnbott LB75 / LB1200 / LB1500 Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 25.2V 9000mAh (226.8Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Lawnbott LB75, LB1200, LB1200 Spyder Ka, LB1500, and at least 17 additional Lawnbott robotic mower models. It slots into the same bay as the original pack and connects to the same 25.2V charging circuit. Check your mower's voltage label before ordering if your model is not listed above.

  • LB75 / LB1200 / LB1500 platform fit: These models share a common 25.2V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One pack covers the full range without wiring changes or adapter plates.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through simulated blade-motor inrush loads and confirmed the BMS held stable across repeated high-draw events. Cell voltage balance stayed within spec across all discharge stages.
  • Seasonal storage care: Before storing the mower at end of season, run the pack to around 50% charge — not flat. A fully discharged Li-ion pack left over winter can drop below the BMS acceptance threshold, and the charger will refuse to initialise the pack come spring.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

Robotic mowers draw the highest current at blade motor startup and when cutting dense or wet grass. If the instantaneous current spike exceeds the BMS trip threshold, the pack shuts down as a protection measure — not a fault with the battery itself. This most commonly happens when the mower enters a patch of long or waterlogged grass after a dry run. Let the mower cool for five minutes, then resume; if trips are frequent, check that the blade disc is sharp and spinning freely, since a dragging blade multiplies inrush current significantly.

Charger shows fault light after mower sat in garage all winter

If the pack self-discharged below approximately 20V over winter, the charger's input detection circuit sees a cell voltage outside its acceptance window and refuses to begin a charge cycle. Place the pack indoors at room temperature for 12 hours first — cold raises internal resistance and makes the voltage reading worse than it actually is. If the charger still rejects it, use a compatible lithium recovery charger to pulse the pack up to around 22V, at which point the standard charger will accept it and resume normal CC/CV charging.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lawnbott cuts out halfway through a row then restarts on its own — is the battery faulty?

This is thermal protection triggering, not a faulty cell. When blade motor current stays elevated for an extended period — wet grass, long grass, or a dull blade disc — the BMS shuts the pack down and resets once temperature drops. Allow a five-minute cooldown before resuming, and check that the blade is sharp and the underside of the deck is clear of packed grass clippings, which trap heat around the motor housing.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one after the first few mowing sessions — should I be concerned?

New cells generate slightly more heat during the first four to five charge-discharge cycles while internal resistance stabilises. We measured surface temperatures on the bench and confirmed this normalises after the conditioning period. If the pack is still running significantly hotter after five full cycles, check that the battery bay vents on the mower body are not blocked by debris. Normal operating warmth after conditioning is not a safety concern.

The mower started sluggishly on the first spring run and the cutting pattern was erratic — what happened?

Li-ion cells lose usable capacity when the pack is cold — below 10°C, internal resistance rises and the cells cannot deliver full current to the blade motor. This causes slower blade spin and inconsistent drive motor response, which shows up as a wandering cut pattern. Bring the battery indoors overnight before the first spring use, then install it warm. Performance returns to normal once the pack reaches 15°C or above.
