Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo K900 / K100 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BL207)
This is a 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell sourced to OEM part number BL207. It fits the Lenovo K900 and K100 Android smartphones. At 9.25Wh and 110.91 × 46.70 × 3.28mm, it matches the original physical and electrical spec of both models.
- K900 and K100 compatibility: Both models use the same BL207 cell with identical connector pinout, voltage rail, and BMS handshake. The charge IC on each device expects the same 4.2V cutoff and protection circuit response — one cell covers both.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BL207 through a full discharge-charge cycle on the K900. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge current stepped down correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. The K900's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — this single cycle lets the coulomb counter reset its reference against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Why the K900 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The K900 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that builds its state-of-charge model from accumulated charge and discharge data on the old cell. When the cell changes, that learned curve no longer matches the new cell's actual capacity and impedance profile. The reported percentage can read 20–30% higher or lower than real charge state for several cycles. One full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100%, forces the IC to re-anchor its reference points to the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the K900
This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. Under peak modem or screen load, the cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the fuel gauge still reads charge remaining. On an aged or newly installed cell with an uncalibrated gauge, this gap between reported and actual state-of-charge widens. Run one full calibration cycle first — discharge to auto-shutdown, charge uninterrupted to 100%. If shutdowns continue after two calibration cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated and measure open-circuit voltage above 3.7V before reinstalling.

Frequently Asked Questions
The K900 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — is the cell dead?
Most likely the BMS has locked out due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs a trickle current to bring the cell voltage above the BMS recovery threshold before normal charging can begin. If the charge indicator appears within that window, the cell is recovering; if nothing happens after 45 minutes on a known-working charger, check the battery connector seating at the board.
Fast charging stopped working after fitting the BL207 — the K900 only charges slowly now?
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can fall back to standard current because the BMS on the new cell hasn't yet completed a handshake with the device's charging profile. Run one full standard-rate charge to 100% without interrupting it. On the second cycle, fast charging typically resumes once the charge IC has confirmed the cell's impedance and temperature response are within spec. If it still defaults to slow charge after two full cycles, check that the gold contact pads on the battery are clean and making firm contact with the connector on the board.
The battery percentage on my K900 is jumping around erratically — 60%, then 45%, then 55% within minutes?
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve. The coulomb counter accumulated its reference data from the old cell, and the new BL207 has a different impedance signature, so state-of-charge calculations swing until the IC rebuilds its model. Do not top up or interrupt charging during this period. Complete one full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by one uninterrupted charge to 100% — after that single cycle the percentage readings should stabilise to within a few percent of actual charge state.
