Fits LG Glance VX7100 smartphone; replaces LGIP-910R, SBPL0092701, LGIP-910B battery pack.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 800mAh delivers stable voltage across voice calls, texts, and standby.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We cycled this cell on a bench charger at 500mA — BMS accepted the charge without fault codes or cutoff delays.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG Glance / VX7100 / UX7100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGIP-910R)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the LG Glance, VX7100, and UX7100 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers LGIP-910R, SBPL0092701, and LGIP-910B. If your Glance shuts down unexpectedly or no longer holds a charge, this cell restores full operating capacity.

  • Glance / VX7100 / UX7100 platform fit: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — one cell covers the entire platform without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a VX7100 handset. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC completed a full CC/CV cycle to 4.2V without interruption.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge adapter and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's discharge curve before it reports accurate percentages.

Why the LG Glance reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Glance uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references that old curve — so the percentage readout is wrong until the counter resets. The fix is one full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the IC recalibrates its internal model against the actual voltage profile of the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. At low state of charge, the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load — and if the fuel gauge IC is still running the old calibration, it won't predict that cliff accurately. The phone's low-voltage cutoff triggers before the display percentage reaches zero. Run the one-cycle recalibration described above, and confirm the cell rests at approximately 3.85V when the phone shows 50% — if it reads significantly lower, the IC needs another full cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LG Glance won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked the cell out after voltage dropped below 2.5V during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will release its lockout. Once the cell recovers to around 3.0V, the phone should respond to a power-on press.

The Glance feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is something wrong?

That warmth is expected on the first one or two cycles. A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat as it pushes current in during the constant-current phase. Temperature should drop noticeably after the second or third full cycle as impedance settles. If the phone stays hot to the touch beyond the third cycle, stop charging and check that the battery connector is fully seated.

The battery percentage on my Glance jumps around erratically — it shows 60%, then skips to 30% without warning.

The coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell and producing unstable readings. This is common in the first few cycles after a cell swap. Run two consecutive full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles using a standard 5V/1A adapter — not a fast charger. After the second complete cycle, the IC locks onto a stable curve and the percentage jumps should stop.
