Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG VX11000 / enV Touch — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGLP-AHLM)
This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the LG VX11000 and enV Touch. It replaces OEM part numbers LGLP-AHLM and SBPP0027201. Both phones share the same battery bay, connector, and BMS handshake, so one cell fits both.
- VX11000 and enV Touch compatibility: LG used the same physical form factor, voltage rail, and connector across the VX11000 and enV Touch. The BMS handshake is identical — the charge IC accepts this cell on both models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the VX11000. The BMS accepted the cell immediately, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected on over-discharge.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge mode and run one full discharge-charge cycle before normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve. One full cycle lets it map the new cell and stop reporting inaccurate percentages.
Why the enV Touch shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap
The enV Touch uses a coulomb counter that tracks charge relative to the previous cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has lower impedance, so the fuel gauge IC reads remaining capacity correctly under light loads but cannot account for the voltage sag under screen-on or radio-transmit draw. When load spikes, terminal voltage drops below the protection threshold faster than the gauge predicts. The BMS interprets this as a critical low-voltage event and triggers shutdown. Running one full discharge-to-cutoff cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates this behaviour.
Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If this battery sat long enough to drop below 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. The phone will show nothing on screen — no charging indicator, no vibration. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a computer USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. Most BMS circuits begin a trickle pre-charge recovery at around 2.5–2.8V and will restore normal charging once the cell climbs above that threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions
My VX11000 shows the battery at 100% for ages then drops straight to 15% — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty. The phone's fuel gauge IC stored the discharge curve of your old, degraded battery. After a cell swap, the coulomb counter is mapping against the wrong reference and reports inaccurate percentages until it recalibrates. Run one complete discharge — use the phone until it shuts itself off — then charge it fully in one uninterrupted session. After that single cycle the fuel gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.
The enV Touch feels warm near the battery during the first charge after I fitted this cell — is something wrong?
A new Li-ion cell arrives from storage with higher internal impedance than a cell that has been cycled. On the first charge, the charge IC pushes current into a cell that has not yet settled at full electrolyte conductivity, which generates slightly more heat than normal. This is expected on cycle one. If the phone is warm to the point of being uncomfortable to hold, remove it from charge, let it cool for ten minutes, then resume — but mild warmth on first charge is a normal characteristic of a new high-impedance cell being brought up for the first time.
Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my VX11000 — the phone just trickle charges now.
Some charge ICs on older LG handsets run a pre-qualification handshake with the BMS before enabling higher charge current. On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC defaults to trickle rate until it confirms the cell is within safe voltage and temperature parameters. This is a protection behaviour, not a fault. Let the phone complete one full charge at trickle rate without interrupting it. On subsequent cycles the charge IC recognises the cell as qualified and restores normal charge current.
