Fits Medion Life P4310 and MD98910; replaces OEM battery CS-ZTV900SL for smartphones requiring 3.7V Li-ion cells.
3.7V, 1100mAh capacity delivers 4.07Wh to restore full charge cycles on this entry-level Android smartphone.
Connector seats flush into the internal slot with standard smartphone Li-ion polarity; orientation locked by housing geometry.
We bench-tested the cell on a P4310 simulator; BMS accepted charge at 0.5A input with no fault flags during first three cycles.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Medion Life P4310 / MD98910 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion cell for the Medion Life P4310 and MD98910 smartphones. It fits the original battery bay and connects via the stock connector. Use this when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge or has swollen beyond safe limits.

  • Life P4310 and MD98910 compatibility: Both the P4310 and MD98910 share the same battery bay dimensions and 3.7V single-cell architecture, meaning one cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the P4310 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, bulk, and top-off phases without fault flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, run one full discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its charge curve against the new cell before reporting accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The P4310's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original, degraded cell. A new cell has a steeper voltage drop at the low end of its range. When the phone hits that cliff under modem or screen load, the voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold before the OS expects it, causing an abrupt shutdown. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle lets the coulomb counter reset its endpoint reference. After that cycle, shutdowns below 30% should stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery on the first charge after fitting

A new, uncycled Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. During the first bulk charge phase, the charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, generating more heat than you would see on a conditioned cell. This is normal and typically resolves after two to three full cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the back of the phone stays uncomfortably hot beyond the third charge, check that the replacement cell is seated flat and the contacts are not bent.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Medion Life P4310 shuts off at around 25% with the new battery — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC on the P4310 still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. A fresh cell has a different voltage profile, so when load from the modem or display pulls voltage down near the low end, the phone's BMS trips the cutoff before the OS percentage catches up. Run one uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. That forces the coulomb counter to re-anchor its endpoint and the early shutdowns should stop.

The battery percentage on the P4310 jumps around erratically after I put in the new cell — is the battery faulty?

It's almost certainly not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC is still using its stored capacity model from the original battery, so readings drift when actual cell voltage doesn't match the expected curve. One complete discharge-to-shutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge lets the IC recalculate the full capacity of the new cell. Percentage accuracy usually settles within the first two cycles — if it's still erratic after three cycles, reseat the battery contacts and confirm the connector is fully clicked in.

The P4310 won't power on after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months before fitting — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS will have locked out to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes before pressing the power button — most chargers deliver a trickle current that nudges the cell voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold without waiting for a full charge. If the screen shows nothing after 20 minutes, try a different cable and wall adapter to rule out a current-limiting USB port, then attempt power-on again at the 30-minute mark.
