Fits Medion MD95000, MD-9500, MDPNA200s, MD95900 pocket computers; replaces OEM battery part CS-MIO168SL.
3.7V 1300mAh lithium-ion cell; matches original output for full device operation without voltage sag.
Connector slides into vertical slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on device chassis.
Bench test showed steady voltage ramp on first charge with no BMS cutoff; cell accepted full discharge cycle.
Perform a full data sync to the host computer before removing the old battery — the MD95000 stores open files and application state in RAM powered by the main cell, and removing power without syncing causes data loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Medion MD95000 / MDPNA200s Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Medion MD95000, MD-9500, MDPNA200s, and MD95900 pocket PCs. These Windows Mobile handhelds share a common battery footprint — 50.00 × 35.90 × 8.50mm — and the same voltage rail. Capacity matches the original factory spec at 4.81Wh.

  • MD95000 and MD-9500 series fit: These models run on the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with an identical connector orientation and PCB layout. The cell slot accepts this battery without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the MD95000 platform. The BMS handled charge termination cleanly at full capacity, and the protection circuit tripped correctly on simulated over-discharge without latching off permanently.
  • SRAM data protection before swapping: Sync all open files and application data to a host PC before removing the battery. The MD95000 holds active RAM contents on battery power only — cutting that power without a prior sync wipes unsaved data, contacts, and app state instantly.

Why the MD95000 loses data when the battery is pulled

The MD95000 uses SRAM for active storage — not flash. SRAM requires continuous power to hold its contents. The moment battery voltage drops to zero, everything in RAM is gone: open documents, unsaved contacts, and app state. There is no background write-to-flash on shutdown like a modern smartphone. Before swapping, perform a full ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center sync, then soft-reset the device to flush RAM cleanly.

PDA not booting after new battery is installed

A freshly shipped Li-ion cell arrives at storage charge — typically around 3.5V — which sits below the MD95000's minimum boot threshold. The device may show nothing on screen or display a low-battery icon and refuse to start. This is not a fault with the battery or the device. Connect the PDA to the original charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting the first boot. Once the cell clears roughly 3.6V, the boot sequence will complete normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My MD95000 wiped all my contacts and calendar after I swapped the battery — is that normal?

Yes, and it's a known behaviour with this hardware. The MD95000 stores active data in SRAM, which loses its contents the instant battery power is cut — there's no automatic save to flash memory on power removal. The fix going forward is to run a full ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center sync to a host PC before pulling the battery, then soft-reset the device first. That flushes RAM to a clean state and protects your data before the swap.

The PDA charges fine but the battery drains much faster when I'm using Bluetooth or wireless sync — is this battery underspec?

It's not the battery. The MD95000's Bluetooth radio and Wi-Fi sync draw significantly more current than standby mode — often three to five times the idle draw — and a 1300mAh cell at 3.7V has a fixed energy budget of 4.81Wh to cover all of it. Older original cells masked this by misreporting capacity as they degraded. Keep wireless radios off when not actively syncing and disable Bluetooth in the system tray between sessions; that alone extends usable time between charges substantially.

Wireless sync keeps dropping halfway through after fitting the new battery — what's causing it?

The MD95000's wireless radio is voltage-sensitive and will throttle or drop connection if the cell hasn't reached a full charge. A battery that ships at storage voltage can sit below the threshold where the radio holds a stable power level. Charge the device fully before attempting a sync — the indicator light should show a complete charge cycle. If drops continue after a full charge, check that the battery contacts on the device are clean and making firm contact with the cell's terminals.
