Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

NTT DoCoMo FOMA HT1100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ELF0160)
This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh Li-ion battery built to fit the NTT DoCoMo FOMA HT1100 handset. It replaces OEM part numbers ELF0160, 35H00095-00M, and FFEA175B009951. If your HT1100 no longer holds a charge or shuts down unexpectedly, this cell is a direct swap for the original.
- FOMA HT1100 fitment: The HT1100 uses a specific connector orientation and BMS handshake tied to the 3.7V single-cell architecture. This battery matches that voltage rail and physical footprint — 50.84 x 36.65 x 10.78mm — so the BMS accepts the cell without throwing a charge fault.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the HT1100 platform. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage, and the protection circuit responded normally to load cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use, disable any fast-charge mode and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The HT1100's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve. Giving it one uninterrupted cycle lets it map the new cell before reporting accurate percentages.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the HT1100 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC still uses the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. When the new cell hits a voltage point the old curve maps as 20–30%, the actual cell voltage may already be near the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone cuts out because the hardware hits the floor before the OS expects it. One full slow discharge-to-charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's actual capacity endpoints and clears this behaviour.
HT1100 not powering on after sitting in storage with a flat battery
Lithium-ion cells stored fully discharged can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers a BMS lockout to prevent unsafe charging. The HT1100 will show no sign of life — no boot screen, no charge indicator. Connect the phone to a low-current charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The BMS recovery circuit needs a trickle charge to bring cell voltage back above the 2.8V threshold before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
My HT1100 shows 25% battery then shuts off instantly — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC recalibrates after a cell swap, and until it maps the new discharge curve, it misreads the voltage cliff point. The phone's protection circuit cuts power when the actual cell voltage drops below the safe floor, even if the OS still shows charge remaining. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — the coulomb counter will reset its endpoints against the new cell.
The battery percentage on my HT1100 is jumping around erratically after fitting this cell — what's happening?
The fuel gauge IC on the HT1100 is still working from the discharge curve it built for your old, degraded cell. The new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC's voltage-to-percentage mapping is temporarily off. This produces erratic jumps — sometimes large drops in seconds, sometimes stalling at a fixed number. Complete two full slow charge and discharge cycles without interruption, and the fuel gauge will stabilise against the new cell's actual curve.
My HT1100 won't turn on at all after the battery was sitting dead in a drawer — what do I do?
A cell stored at or near zero charge can fall below 2.5V, which causes the BMS to lock out all current flow as a safety measure. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it completely undisturbed for at least 20 minutes — do not press the power button during this window. The BMS recovery circuit needs that trickle input to pull the cell voltage back above 2.8V before normal charge negotiation can begin. Once a charge indicator appears on screen, the BMS has cleared the lockout and the phone will boot normally.
