This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Olympia Birdy Voice and Serd Concord 3263 cordless phones. It fits directly into the handset and restores normal operation when the original cell no longer holds a charge. Capacity is rated at 2.52Wh, matching the original specification.

• Birdy Voice and Concord 3263 fit: Both handsets run on the same 3.6V three-cell Ni-MH pack with an identical footprint — 45.90 × 31.20 × 10.70mm — and share the same connector orientation. One part covers both models.

DECT transmitters draw a brief current spike each time the handset sends a radio burst. Run three to five full charge-and-use cycles and the cell's internal resistance falls — voltage holds steady under load and range returns to normal.

Ni-MH batteries can sit in storage long enough for cell voltage to fall below the threshold the base station uses to detect a valid pack. When the base sees voltage below roughly 3.0V it won't start a charge cycle — it flags an error instead. Remove the handset, wait 30 seconds, and reseat it firmly so the contacts are fully engaged. If the error persists, a short 15-minute trickle from a standalone Ni-MH charger at 50mA is enough to bring cell voltage above the acceptance threshold and let the base take over.
