Fits Philips CRP777 and CRP781 cordless vacuums; replaces OEM battery CRP777.
14.4V and 2600mAh deliver full motor power for floor and surface cleaning throughout a cleaning cycle.
Battery slides onto the handle dock with a single locking tab; connector seats flush when fully inserted.
We ran this pack through five charge cycles on the Philips charger with no BMS faults or early shutoff events.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charging degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips CRP777 Cordless Vacuum — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (CRP777)

This 14.4V Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Philips CRP777 cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits the CRP777, CRP777/01, CRP781, and FC9910/01/A among other models in this range. Capacity is 2600mAh (37.44Wh), matching the original specification.

  • CRP777 and FC9910 series compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between variants in this family works because the cell voltage rails and communication signals are identical across the range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and recharge sequences on the CRP777 platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-cell voltage and allowed normal charge acceptance from the Philips dock without handshake errors.
  • Dock charging behaviour on this vacuum: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the charge indicator shows full. The CRP777 dock does not stop passing current when the battery reaches capacity — leaving it docked continuously accelerates cell degradation faster than normal cycling would.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The CRP777 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the bin is full. That extra load causes cell voltage to sag under load even when resting voltage still reads as adequate. The BMS then throttles output to protect the cells, and the motor slows — which reads as suction loss, not a battery fault. Check and clean the filter first; a clean filter cuts motor draw back to rated levels and the issue usually disappears.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or heavy carpet fibres — sustained high current causes the BMS protection circuit to disconnect the output. The pack needs a brief cool-down before it resets and allows the motor to restart. Clear the blockage and wait roughly 30 seconds before powering on again. If trips recur on a clean filter, measure pack resting voltage — it should sit above 13.5V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Philips CRP777 loses suction well before the battery light flashes low — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is almost certainly fine. Restricted airflow forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which causes cell voltage to sag under load even when the resting charge is adequate. The BMS responds by reducing output, and suction drops. Clean the filter and empty the bin, then test again — rated motor draw returns on a clear airpath and the sag disappears.

The vacuum keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on its own — what's causing this?

That's the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a defective cell. It happens when something restricts airflow long enough for sustained high current to trigger the protection circuit. The pack disconnects output, cools briefly, then resets. Check the nozzle, hose, and filter for blockages before each use. If it still trips on a fully clear airpath, charge the pack to full and confirm resting voltage reads above 13.5V before running the motor again.

Will leaving the CRP777 on the dock between uses wear out this replacement battery faster?

Yes — the CRP777 dock does not cut trickle current when the pack hits full charge. Continuous dock connection keeps a small charge flowing through cells that are already at capacity, which degrades them faster than normal charge cycles would. Charge the battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off the charger until the next use.
