Fits RoboJet Duel and Sensual cordless vacuums, replaces OEM battery CS-KSB002VX.
14.4V and 3500mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers sustained motor power on carpet and bare floors without voltage sag under normal blockage conditions.
Battery slides into the handle slot with connector alignment tabs; locking tab clicks audibly when seated fully against the vacuum frame.
We ran discharge cycles on the test Duel and confirmed the BMS held voltage flat through mid-discharge, no early cutoff observed.
Remove this battery from the dock immediately after it reaches full charge — continuous trickle charging degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

RoboJet Duel / Sensual — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the RoboJet Duel and Sensual cordless vacuum cleaners. It slots in where the original pack sat and restores full motor voltage to both models. Capacity is rated at 50.4Wh.

  • Duel and Sensual compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use the same physical battery housing and connector. A single cell format covers both — no adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and recharge sequences on a 14.4V Ni-MH load tester. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted charge without thermal runaway or mid-cycle interruption.
  • Dock charging on the Duel and Sensual: Do not leave either vacuum sitting on the charging dock indefinitely. Ni-MH cells degrade faster under continuous trickle charge than Li-ion. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH voltage sags under load before the cell is actually depleted. On the Duel, the motor draws harder when the filter is partially blocked, pulling more current and accelerating that voltage sag. The vacuum interprets the voltage drop as low charge and reduces motor speed early. Clean the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the cell is fine and the filter was the cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and restarting after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the filter is restricted, suction resistance increases and the motor draws above its rated current to compensate. The BMS cuts power to protect the pack, then resets once current drops during the pause. Clear the filter and check the dust bin — if the trip stops occurring, the cell and BMS are working correctly. If it persists on a clean filter, measure pack voltage at rest; a healthy Ni-MH pack at full charge sits between 16.8V and 17.4V across all cells.

Frequently Asked Questions

The RoboJet Duel loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — what's happening?

Ni-MH cells voltage-sag under sustained motor load before the charge indicator registers low. If the filter is even partially blocked, the motor pulls more current than rated, which deepens that sag and drops suction earlier. Remove and clean the filter — if suction returns to normal immediately, the battery is not the cause. If suction stays weak on a clean filter, the replacement pack may need one or two full charge cycles to reach rated capacity.

My RoboJet Duel cuts out completely during a clean, then works again after sitting for a minute — is the battery faulty?

That pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. The BMS disconnects the pack when current draw spikes above threshold — most often from a blocked filter or full dust bin forcing the motor to work harder. Check and empty both before assuming the battery is the issue. If trips continue on a clean filter with an empty bin, measure the resting pack voltage; it should read between 16.8V and 17.4V after a full charge.

The RoboJet battery worked well for months but now it barely holds charge — I always leave it on the dock. Is that what caused this?

Yes. Ni-MH cells degrade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge than Li-ion packs do. Leaving the vacuum docked permanently means the charger keeps pushing a small maintenance current into the cells even when they are full, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge the new replacement to full, then remove it from the dock and only return it when the vacuum needs charging. That single change extends cell life considerably.
