Fits Zebot Z320 cordless stick vacuum; replaces OEM battery CS-KSB002VX.
14.4V 3500mAh Ni-MH pack delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides onto dock contacts vertically; locking tab seats flush with the battery housing.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH cell across three charge cycles; BMS accepted dock current without cutoff and held voltage stable under sustained motor load.
Do not leave the Z320 on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity significantly faster; charge to full and remove from dock.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Zebot Z320 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Zebot Z320 cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits the Z320's battery compartment and restores power to the motor and suction system. When the original cell no longer holds a charge or capacity has dropped noticeably, this is the direct replacement.

  • Z320 platform fitment: The Z320 operates on a 14.4V Ni-MH cell with a specific connector orientation and BMS communication profile. This battery matches that voltage rail and connector layout, so the charger and motor controller recognise it correctly on startup.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Z320's charge and discharge sequence. The BMS handled full charge termination cleanly with no false cutoff, and motor start current draw stayed within the cell's rated output without tripping overcurrent protection.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the Z320: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the indicator shows full. The Z320's dock does not cut trickle current automatically — leaving it docked continuously accelerates Ni-MH capacity fade faster than intermittent use alone.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

On the Z320, suction can drop well before the battery LED signals low charge. The cause is usually motor voltage sag under increased load — not actual cell depletion. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which pulls cell voltage down under load even though resting voltage remains acceptable. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction performance before assuming the battery is at fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a hard-carpet pass with the intake sealed — the motor demands sustained high current. The BMS reads this as an overcurrent event and cuts the cell output to protect it. After a short pause the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear any blockage, confirm the filter is clean, and the trip threshold will not be reached under normal cleaning load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Z320 runs noticeably shorter on the new battery than it did when the original was new — is something wrong?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws more current than rated, which drains the Ni-MH cell faster than the spec assumes. Clean the filter thoroughly and run a full charge-to-depletion cycle before drawing any conclusions about the cell's actual capacity. If runtime remains short after that, check that the battery reached a full charge — Ni-MH cells need a complete charge cycle before capacity stabilises.

The Z320 motor cuts out for a few seconds during cleaning and then kicks back in on its own — why?

That is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent event. Sustained high motor draw — usually from a blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or pressing the intake flat against a surface — pushes current beyond the cell's protection threshold, and the BMS cuts output to prevent damage. Clear the blockage and confirm the filter is clean. Once airflow is restored to normal, the motor will run through a full clean without tripping.

The Z320 has been sitting docked on the charger for weeks — now the battery drains much faster than before. What happened?

Continuous dock charging damages Ni-MH cells through sustained trickle current. The Z320 dock does not cut charge current automatically when the cell is full, so the cell sits in a low-level overcharge state that progressively reduces capacity. Condition the cell by running it fully depleted, then charge it completely and remove it from the dock. Going forward, charge only when depleted and disconnect at full charge to slow further degradation.
