Fits E.Ziclean Furtiv robotic vacuum; replaces original 14.4V Ni-MH battery pack.
14.4V, 3500mAh capacity restores full motor power and cleaning cycles on carpet and hard floors.
Battery slides into rear compartment with single locking tab; connector seats flush when inserted fully.
We bench-tested this cell at full discharge under sustained motor draw; BMS held voltage stable until cutoff.
Remove the vacuum from its dock immediately after charging completes — continuous dock charging degrades Ni-MH capacity within weeks.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

E.Ziclean Furtiv — 14.4V Ni-MH 3500mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the E.Ziclean Furtiv robotic vacuum cleaner. It restores the Furtiv's ability to run full autonomous cleaning cycles after the original cell pack has faded. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.

  • Furtiv platform fit: The Furtiv uses a self-contained 14.4V Ni-MH pack with a fixed connector and BMS that monitors cell voltage during discharge. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector format so the vacuum's onboard electronics accept it without throwing a fault state.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and the charge circuit accepted a full charge without flagging an incompatibility error.
  • Dock charging habit on the Furtiv: Do not leave the Furtiv sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells on continuous trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge the battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next cleaning session.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells under load show a voltage sag that the Furtiv's indicator circuit doesn't always catch immediately. When the motor draws current against a partially blocked filter or thick carpet, cell voltage dips below the level needed to sustain full suction — even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. The motor gets less voltage, so suction output drops noticeably. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest; if suction holds steady after that, the filter was the cause, not the battery.

Motor cutting out mid-cycle and then recovering on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the Furtiv's suction path is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or a carpet pile the inlet is fighting against — the motor draws sustained current above the BMS trip threshold. The BMS disconnects the cell pack to protect the cells, the motor stops, and after a few seconds the BMS resets and allows restart. Clear the blockage and check that the filter is clean before running another cycle. If the cutout stops after that, the BMS was doing its job correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Furtiv has noticeably weaker suction now but the battery indicator still shows it has charge — is the battery failing or is something else wrong?

Weak suction with charge still showing is almost always a restricted airflow problem before it's a battery problem. A partially clogged filter forces the motor to work harder, which pulls more current and causes the Ni-MH cells to sag in voltage under load — suction drops even though the battery isn't empty. Remove and clean or replace the filter, then run the vacuum again. If suction returns to normal, the battery is fine; if it stays weak after a clean filter, the cell pack has likely lost usable capacity.

The Furtiv keeps stopping mid-run, sitting still for a few seconds, and then starting again — what's causing that?

That stop-and-restart pattern is the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a random fault. When the brush roll is tangled with hair or the inlet is partially blocked, sustained motor current spikes above the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects itself. After the BMS resets — usually within seconds — the vacuum restarts. Turn the unit over, clear any debris wrapped around the brush roll, and confirm the filter is clean. If the cutting-out stops after that, no further action is needed.

We left the Furtiv sitting on its charging dock for several weeks between uses and now it seems to run for much less time before stopping — did we damage the battery?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of premature capacity fade in Ni-MH robotic vacuum batteries. Ni-MH cells kept on a trickle charge for extended periods lose usable capacity faster than cells that are only charged when depleted. The damage is cumulative and can't be reversed in the existing pack — a replacement cell pack will restore capacity. Going forward, charge the Furtiv to full and remove it from the dock; reconnect it only when the battery is low before the next cleaning session.
