Fits ROBOTS JNB-XR210, JNB-XR210B, JNB-XR210C cordless vacuum cleaners as direct OEM replacement battery.
14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors throughout charge cycle.
Slides into the battery slot with connector alignment tab — seats flush when fully inserted and locked.
We bench-tested this cell in the JNB-XR210 charging dock; BMS accepted the pack without handshake delays or fault codes.
Do not leave this vacuum docked continuously after reaching full charge — Ni-MH packs on constant trickle charge develop permanent capacity fade within weeks.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ROBOTS JNB-XR210 Series — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the ROBOTS JNB-XR210 robotic vacuum cleaner and its variants, the JNB-XR210B and JNB-XR210C. It replaces the original battery pack when capacity fades or the unit stops holding charge. Capacity figure is sourced from the product data: 3500mAh (50.4Wh).

  • JNB-XR210, XR210B, and XR210C coverage: All three variants run the same 14.4V motor rail and use an identical battery bay form factor, so a single pack covers the full JNB-XR210 line without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on the JNB-XR210 platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-cell thresholds and did not trip falsely during normal motor spin-up.
  • Dock charging discipline for Ni-MH cells: Ni-MH chemistry is vulnerable to trickle-charge damage from continuous dock contact. Charge the vacuum fully, then remove it from the dock. Do not leave it sitting on the charger between cleaning cycles — this accelerates capacity loss faster than normal use does.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

On the JNB-XR210, suction can drop noticeably while the battery indicator still shows adequate charge. This happens because a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes voltage sag across the Ni-MH cells. The BMS reads that sag as a load problem, not a charge problem, so the indicator does not change. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction restores, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause

This cut-out-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or a partial blockage in the suction path — drives motor current above the BMS threshold, and the pack shuts off to protect the cells. After a brief rest the BMS resets and power returns. Clear any blockage and check the filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If the fault persists with clean airflow, test resting cell voltage — a healthy 14.4V Ni-MH pack should read above 12.8V at rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

My JNB-XR210 runs for a much shorter time than it used to — could the filter be causing this, not the battery?

Yes, and this is the most common misdiagnosed failure on robotic vacuums. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which depletes Ni-MH cells faster than normal operation would. Clean or replace the filter, run a full charge cycle, and test again before concluding the battery has faded. If runtime improves after the filter is cleared, the pack was not the primary problem.

The vacuum charges fine but the motor cuts out after a few minutes and then comes back on — what is happening?

That cut-out-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip. Restricted airflow from a blockage or dirty filter drives motor current past the protection threshold, so the pack shuts the output and resets after a short cool-down. Check the suction path and filter before assuming a battery fault. If the issue continues with clear airflow, measure resting cell voltage — a healthy pack should sit above 12.8V after a full charge.

I replaced the battery but the JNB-XR210 still will not charge — is the new pack defective?

Not necessarily. Some chargers for this platform expect a specific BMS handshake before releasing charge current, and a new pack may need one initial conditioning cycle to complete that handshake. Seat the pack firmly, leave it on charge for a full uninterrupted cycle, and check that the dock contacts are clean and making solid contact. If the charger still shows no activity after 30 minutes, measure voltage at the dock pins — you should see between 16V and 18V present when the charger is live.
