Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lilin Robot LL-A320 Series — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Lilin Robot robotic vacuum cleaner range. It fits the LL-A320, LL-A325, LL-A335, and LL-A336 among others. Capacity is sourced from the product specification — 3500mAh (50.4Wh).
- LL-A320 series compatibility: The LL-A320, LL-A325, LL-A335, and LL-A336 share the same 14.4V battery platform and connector format. The motor drive circuit and BMS voltage thresholds are consistent across this model family, which is why one cell pack covers all of them.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and recharge sequences on compatible hardware. The BMS held cutoff voltage correctly at low-end draw and did not trip during the motor start surge typical of robotic vacuum units on hard-floor-to-carpet transitions.
- Dock charging behaviour on Lilin Robot vacuums: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. Lilin Robot's dock delivers a trickle charge that does not stop when the cell is full. Remove the unit from the dock once charging is complete to slow capacity fade.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the LL-A320
This happens when cell capacity has faded enough that voltage sags under motor load before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery state. The indicator measures resting or lightly loaded voltage — not the voltage under the full draw of the suction motor. A partially blocked filter makes this worse because the motor compensates by drawing harder, accelerating the voltage sag. Replacing the battery cell restores the voltage headroom the motor needs to maintain consistent suction through a full cleaning run.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When the filter is restricted or the vacuum picks up a blockage, the motor pulls current above the BMS's safe threshold and the pack shuts output to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clean or replace the filter first — if the cutouts stop, the battery was fine. If cutouts continue with a clean filter and a new battery, check the brush roll for hair or debris jamming the motor and forcing sustained high-current draw. Confirm the BMS trip threshold by checking that pack voltage returns to above 13.0V within 10 seconds of cutout.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Lilin Robot LL-A320 runs for a noticeably shorter time than it used to — new battery fitted, filter is clean. What's causing this?
A clean filter and a new cell rule out the two most common causes, so check the brush roll. Hair and debris wrapped around the brush force the motor to draw above its rated current continuously, which makes the battery discharge faster even though nothing looks blocked from the outside. Remove the brush roll and clear any wrapped material. If runtime improves, the brush roll was the draw — not the battery.
The LL-A320 sits on the dock all day between uses and the battery fades fast — why?
Lilin Robot's charging dock does not cut off cleanly when the cell reaches full charge. It continues delivering a low-level trickle charge that slowly degrades Ni-MH cells through heat and overcharge stress. Take the unit off the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Charge only when the battery is genuinely depleted and you will slow capacity fade significantly.
After fitting the new battery the LL-A320 won't charge at all — charger light stays off or wrong colour.
Some Lilin Robot chargers check for a minimum cell voltage before initiating the charge cycle. If the replacement battery shipped deeply discharged, the charger may not recognise it as a valid pack. Connect the charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without interruption — some units will begin a recovery trickle at very low voltage before switching to full charge. If the light still does not change, measure the pack voltage directly across the terminals; it should read at least 10.0V for the charger to engage the standard charge cycle.
