This 14.4V Li-ion battery pack replaces the original power cell in the Sauber Ihssauber cordless vacuum cleaner. It carries 5200mAh (74.88Wh) of capacity and slots into the same position as the factory unit. When the original pack degrades and suction becomes inconsistent, this is the direct swap.

• Ihssauber platform fit: The Ihssauber runs a 14.4V motor rail with a BMS that monitors cell voltage under motor load. This pack matches that voltage profile and connector layout, so the vacuum powers on and runs at full motor speed without tripping the protection circuit at startup.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated motor-start draws and sustained suction loads. The BMS held the discharge cutoff consistently and did not trip under the current spikes that occur when the brush head engages carpet.
• Dock charging habit on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the Ihssauber sitting on the charging dock continuously. Li-ion cells in vacuum packs develop capacity fade faster under constant trickle charge than they do from regular charge-and-discharge cycles. Charge fully, then remove from the dock.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before battery indicator reaches low

The Ihssauber motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush head is restricted. Under that elevated load, cell voltage sags below the BMS discharge threshold even when the indicator still shows charge remaining. The vacuum appears to run out of power early, but the real cause is increased motor draw — not battery failure. Clean the filter and check for brush head obstructions first; a clear airpath reduces motor current and the suction drop moves back toward the end of the charge cycle where it belongs.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction against a blockage or a dense carpet pile forces the motor to pull beyond the pack's rated discharge current, the BMS opens the circuit to protect the cells. After a brief rest, cell voltage recovers and the BMS resets — which is why the vacuum comes back on without any action from the user. Clear the filter and any blockage in the suction path, then resume use. If the cut-out persists on an open floor with a clean filter, check that the charger brought the pack to a full 16.8V before the session.
