Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

lubluelu SL61 / SL60D / SL60 Plus / SL68 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the lubluelu SL61, SL60D, SL60 Plus, and SL68 cordless stick vacuums. It restores power to the motor when the original cell degrades. Voltage and physical dimensions match the OEM pack: 69.00 × 37.30 × 37.00mm.
- SL60 and SL61 platform compatibility: The SL60D, SL60 Plus, SL61, and SL68 share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one cell fits all four models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles on the SL61 dock and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour. The protection circuit tripped correctly on over-discharge and reset cleanly on reconnection to the charger.
- Dock charging habit on this vacuum: Do not leave the SL61 sitting on the dock continuously between uses. These vacuums charge to full in roughly two hours — once the indicator shows full, remove it. Permanent dock contact forces a trickle-charge state that accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the SL61
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the battery can deliver at its present state of charge — even if the indicator still shows two bars. On the SL61, a partially blocked filter or full dust cup raises motor load significantly. The battery voltage sags under that extra draw, and suction weakens before the BMS would normally flag a low-charge event. Clean the filter and empty the cup first; if suction recovers, the battery is fine. If it still sags with a clean filter, the cell is losing capacity and voltage is dropping below 12V under load.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When suction is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or dense carpet pile — the motor pulls sustained current above the protection circuit threshold. The BMS cuts power to prevent cell damage. After 10–15 seconds the pack cools slightly, the BMS resets, and the motor starts again. Clear the blockage, check that the filter is seated correctly, and retry. If the trip repeats on a clean machine, check pack voltage under load — it should hold above 13V during normal operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
My lubluelu SL61 battery fades noticeably after just a few months — is this normal?
It usually means the vacuum has been sitting on the dock permanently between uses. Li-ion cells on continuous trickle charge lose usable capacity faster than cells that are charged and then disconnected. Charge the pack fully, remove it from the dock, and store the vacuum off the charger. If the cell is already degraded, a replacement pack will restore full run capacity — but the dock habit needs to change or the same fade will happen again.
The SL61 motor cuts out for about 15 seconds then kicks back on by itself — what's causing that?
The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent event, not a dead battery. Restricted airflow — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or heavy carpet — forces the motor to draw more current than the protection circuit allows, so it shuts off. Remove the filter, check for blockages at the brush head, and clean the dust cup. If the cutout stops after clearing the restriction, the battery is working correctly.
My replacement battery won't charge on the SL61 dock — the indicator light just blinks and nothing happens.
The SL61 charger expects a specific voltage handshake from the BMS before it begins a charge cycle. If the replacement pack arrived deeply discharged, the charger may not recognise it. Disconnect the battery, wait two minutes, and reconnect — this forces the BMS to reinitialise. If the dock still won't charge, measure the pack's open-circuit voltage with a multimeter; a reading below 10V means the cell is in deep-discharge protection and needs a brief boost charge before the standard dock can take over.
