Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sencor SRV 1000SL / SRV 1000 — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SRX 0014)
This is a 10.8V 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Sencor SRV 1000SL and SRV 1000 robotic vacuum cleaners. It replaces the original cell pack when capacity has dropped through repeated charge cycles. The pack uses a 3S 18650 configuration matching the OEM voltage rail and connector layout.
- SRV 1000SL and SRV 1000 compatibility: Both models run the same 10.8V three-cell series circuit and share the same dock connector and BMS handshake logic — one cell pack covers both units without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the SRV 1000 platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low-cell threshold and accepted charge termination from the dock without fault flags.
- Dock charging behaviour on this vacuum: Do not leave the SRV 1000SL sitting on the dock between every cleaning run. The dock delivers a continuous trickle once full, and Li-ion cells held near 100% for extended periods lose usable capacity faster than cells cycled from depletion. Charge fully, then remove from dock until the next run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the SRV 1000SL
When a filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to pull the same airflow. That increased draw pulls more current from the cell pack, which causes voltage to sag earlier in the discharge cycle. The vacuum's motor controller reads that sag as reduced power and throttles back — even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. Cleaning or replacing the filter is the first step; a fresh filter alone will often restore full suction before any battery swap is needed.
Motor cutting out mid-run and then restarting after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. A sustained restriction — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or hair wrap on the intake — forces the motor to draw beyond the BMS current threshold, which shuts the pack down to protect the cells. The BMS resets once current drops, which is why the vacuum restarts after a short pause. Clear the blockage, then power cycle the unit; if the trip happens again on a clean filter, check cell voltage at the pack connector — it should read between 11.1V and 12.6V at rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
My SRV 1000SL loses suction well before the battery light flashes low — is it the battery or something else?
Most of the time this is a filter restriction, not a weak battery. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw extra current, which causes cell voltage to sag and the motor controller to throttle back early. Clean or replace the filter first and run a full cycle. If suction still drops early with a clean filter, the cell pack has likely degraded and the resting voltage will read below 10.8V when tested at the pack connector.
The SRV 1000SL keeps cutting out mid-clean and then starting again after a few seconds — what's causing it?
That stop-start pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip resetting itself. The motor hits a restriction — tangled brush roll, packed intake, or a blocked filter — and pulls more current than the BMS allows, so it shuts the pack down. Once the draw drops, the BMS resets and the vacuum restarts. Check and clear the brush roll and filter; if trips continue on a clean machine, verify pack voltage at rest — a healthy 3S Li-ion pack should read between 11.1V and 12.6V.
The replacement battery charges fully but the available runtime on each run has dropped noticeably after only a few months — why?
Continuous dock sitting is the most likely cause. The SRV 1000 dock delivers a trickle charge to hold the pack at near-full capacity, and Li-ion cells kept at 100% state of charge for long periods degrade faster than cells that are regularly cycled. Remove the vacuum from the dock once the charge LED signals full, and only return it to charge when the battery is genuinely depleted. This one habit change is usually enough to slow capacity fade significantly.
