Fits Stealth 400 and 500 wireless headsets, replacing OEM part number FT603048P.
3.7V, 900mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers rated capacity for full talk time on DECT platforms.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with a single locking tab; no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell in a Stealth 400 base station — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
Charge the headset in the base station for one full cycle before taking calls; DECT bases need this cycle to complete the handshake and log accurate talk-time estimates.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Stealth 400 / 500 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FT603048P)

This is a 3.7V, 900mAh lithium-polymer cell built to the FT603048P specification. It fits the Stealth 400 and 500 wireless headsets. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or drops out during calls.

  • 400 and 500 series compatibility: Both models run the same 3.7V power rail, share the FT603048P cell footprint, and use the same BMS handshake with the base station — that's why one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS held the cutoff voltage correctly at both ends and passed the charge-complete signal to the base station without fault.
  • First-cycle base station protocol: Seat the headset in the base station and let it complete a full uninterrupted charge before taking a call. DECT headsets log the new cell during that first cycle — skipping it causes the talk-time indicator to report incorrectly until the handshake completes.

Base station not recognising the new pack after fitting

DECT base stations verify the battery pack through a BMS handshake before displaying a charge status. A cell shipped at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — may not have enough charge for the base to initiate that exchange. Place the headset on the base immediately after fitting and leave it for a complete charge cycle without removing it. Once the handshake completes, the base will display charge status normally on every subsequent cycle.

Headset cuts out mid-call even with a charged battery

The Stealth 400 and 500 draw simultaneously from the audio circuit and the DECT radio during a live call. That combined load creates brief current spikes that can trip the BMS undervoltage cutoff if the cell voltage sags below threshold — even when the displayed charge level looks fine. This is most common in the first few cycles before the cell has settled. Run three to five full charge-and-use cycles and the sag behaviour typically stabilises as the cell reaches its rated 900mAh output.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Stealth 400 base station is showing a charging error after I fitted the new battery — what's wrong?

The base station runs a BMS handshake when it first sees a new cell, and a battery arriving at storage voltage (around 3.6V) sometimes doesn't have enough charge for that exchange to complete. Seat the headset on the base and leave it undisturbed through one full charge cycle — don't lift it off partway through. Once the handshake completes, the charging error clears and the base reads the pack correctly from then on.

Talk time is noticeably shorter than rated in the first few days — is the battery faulty?

It's not faulty. Li-polymer cells don't deliver their full rated capacity immediately after manufacture or storage. The 900mAh rating is reached after the cell has gone through several full charge-and-discharge cycles. Run three to five complete cycles — charge fully, use the headset until it needs charging again — and talk time will increase incrementally across those cycles until it stabilises at the rated figure.

The headset gets noticeably warm during long calls — is that normal with this cell?

Some warmth is expected. The Stealth 400 and 500 housings are compact, and during extended calls the cell is supplying both the audio circuit and the DECT radio simultaneously from a small 48.70 x 30.80 x 5.90mm pack with limited airflow. If the headset becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, remove it from your ear and let it cool before continuing. Consistent overheating during normal calls points to a charging issue — check that the base station contacts are clean and making firm contact with the headset.
