Fits Uniwill M30, M31, M30EI0, M30EI2 and compatible models; replaces OEM part M30-3S4400-C1S1, M30-3S4400-G1L1, M30-3S4400-G1P1, 63-UJ1024-0A, 63GUJ1024-2A, SA20071-01.
11.1V, 4400mAh lithium-ion delivers 48.84Wh to restore full portable operation when original cell no longer holds usable charge.
Three-cell connector slides into battery bay with positive lead forward; locking tab seats flush against the retention clip inside the chassis.
Bench testing showed normal BMS charge curve with voltage regulation at 12.6V; cell accepted full capacity charge without cutoff or thermal drift.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Uniwill M30 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (M30-3S4400-C1S1)

This is an 11.1V 4400mAh (48.84Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Uniwill M30 and M31 series notebooks. It replaces OEM part numbers M30-3S4400-C1S1, M30-3S4400-G1L1, M30-3S4400-G1P1, 63-UJ1024-0A, 63GUJ1024-2A, and SA20071-01. Compatible models include the M30, M31, M30EI0, and M30EI2.

  • M30 and M31 platform compatibility: These models share the same three-cell series configuration, 11.1V nominal rail, and physical connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is consistent across the M30EI0 and M30EI2 variants, so one cell fits the entire platform without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the M30 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the system board, charge termination triggered at the expected voltage ceiling, and the fuel gauge IC registered the cell without error flags.
  • First-cycle calibration on the M30: After installing, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears in system utilities after a cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell

The Uniwill M30 BIOS reads health data stored in the battery's EEPROM. When a new cell arrives, its EEPROM cycle count is zero and the rated Wh value may differ slightly from the original — the BIOS interprets this mismatch as a degraded or unknown battery. This is a firmware read issue, not a fault with the new cell. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted full charge gives the BIOS enough data to recalculate and update the health status correctly.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on the M30

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The gauge is still reading from the old cell's data, so it misjudges the voltage cliff — the point where cell voltage drops steeply under combined CPU and display load. The laptop hits the low-voltage protection threshold before the gauge reaches 0%. Fix this by completing two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles; after that, the gauge recalibrates and the cutoff aligns with real remaining capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

My M30 shows the new battery as "unknown" or 0% in Windows right after fitting it — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The Uniwill M30 fuel gauge IC stores calibration data tied to the old cell's EEPROM profile, and a freshly installed cell doesn't match it yet. Windows reads that mismatch as an unknown or empty battery. Run a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the gauge will initialise correctly against the new cell.

The system info screen shows a different Wh rating than the 48.84Wh listed for this battery — why?

The Wh figure shown in system utilities is pulled from the EEPROM on the cell, and some OEM replacement cells store the original rated value from the factory spec sheet, which may round differently from the calculated actual. This is a data label difference, not a capacity shortfall. The actual delivered energy matches the 4400mAh rating at 11.1V — confirm this by checking the cell voltage at full charge, which should read between 12.4V and 12.6V.

The M30 charges to about 80% and then stops — the indicator just stays solid without reaching full charge.

This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a battery fault. Some Uniwill M30 firmware versions include a charge threshold setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long AC-connected sessions. Check the power management settings in the Uniwill or system BIOS utility and look for a charge limit or battery health mode toggle — disabling it restores charging to 100%.
