Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo iQOO Neo6 SE 5G — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-U6)
This is a 7.74V, 2250mAh (17.42Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Vivo iQOO Neo6 SE 5G (model V2199A). It replaces part number B-U6 when the original cell has degraded and no longer holds adequate charge. Physical dimensions are 86.80 × 63.50 × 5.10mm — confirm clearance before installation.
- iQOO Neo6 SE 5G / V2199A fit: Both model references share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the B-U6 cell serves both without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and full discharge on the iQOO Neo6 SE 5G platform. The BMS accepted the cell without flagging an incompatibility error, and the charge IC engaged correctly at startup.
- First-cycle fast-charge hold: After installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — running a full slow cycle first lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Why the iQOO Neo6 SE 5G reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The phone reads voltage and maps it against the old curve, so percentages drift — often showing 100% too quickly or dropping sharply near 30%. One full slow discharge to 0% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and corrects the reported values.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the modem or display draws a current spike the cell cannot sustain without dropping below the BMS cutoff threshold — typically around 3.0V per cell. A freshly installed cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge makes this worse, because the displayed percentage doesn't reflect actual remaining capacity. Run two full slow discharge-charge cycles to let the gauge re-anchor its low-voltage endpoint. If shutdowns persist past that, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a high-resistance contact causes voltage drop under load at the same 20–30% range.

Frequently Asked Questions
My iQOO Neo6 SE 5G won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, which sits around 2.5V. At that voltage the BMS cuts output entirely to prevent cell damage, so the phone shows nothing. Plug in a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — the charge IC needs time to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-engage. If the phone still won't respond after 45 minutes on charge, check the battery connector pins for corrosion or misalignment.
Fast charging isn't working on my iQOO Neo6 SE 5G after I swapped the battery — it just charges slowly.
On the first cycle after installation, the BMS on a new cell sometimes doesn't immediately negotiate the proprietary fast-charge handshake with the charge IC — it defaults to standard 5V charging as a precaution. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then disconnect and let the phone sit for two minutes before plugging back in. On the second cycle the charge IC typically re-initiates the fast-charge protocol and full charging speed returns. If it still doesn't fast charge after two full cycles, test with the original Vivo adapter — third-party chargers often fail the handshake independently of the battery.
The battery percentage on my iQOO Neo6 SE 5G is jumping around erratically — going from 60% to 45% in minutes with no heavy use.
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and hasn't settled yet. The old curve stored in memory doesn't match the voltage profile of the replacement B-U6 cell, so the coulomb counter overcorrects as it logs each discharge segment. Run two complete discharge cycles — drain fully until the phone shuts off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% each time — without using fast charge during those cycles. After the second cycle the percentage readings should stabilise and track consistently through the full charge range.
