Fits AEG Liliput AG1413 handheld vacuum cleaner, replaces OEM part 520103.
3.6V Ni-MH 3000mAh capacity restores full motor voltage under suction load.
Connector slots vertically into the battery bay with a single locking tab.
We bench-tested this cell in the AG1413 platform; BMS engaged cleanly on first insertion with no fault codes.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH cells on trickle charge fade capacity within weeks, so charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AEG Liliput AG1413 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (520103)

This is a 3.6V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the AEG Liliput AG1413 cordless handheld vacuum cleaner. It also fits the Liliput Classic 1 and FL36 AG303 models, which share the same voltage rail and connector format. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a charge through a full cleaning session.

  • Liliput AG1413, Classic 1, FL36 AG303 fit group: These models share a 3.6V single-cell Ni-MH architecture with the same connector orientation and physical cell format. One battery cell covers the entire group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the AG1413 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and suction output held consistent across the discharge curve down to the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Dock charging habit on the AG1413: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on its charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells in this format degrade significantly faster under constant trickle charge. Charge the unit fully, then remove it from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the AG1413

The AG1413 motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling voltage down faster than normal. The battery indicator tracks voltage, not actual capacity, so it can still show mid-range while the cell is already sagging under load. This looks like a weak battery but is often a filter restriction. Clean the filter first, then retest suction performance before concluding the cell is at fault.

Motor cuts out mid-use and then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor draws a sustained high current — usually from a blocked nozzle or clogged filter — the BMS cuts the output circuit to protect the cell. After a brief rest the BMS resets and the vacuum runs again. Clear any blockage in the nozzle and wash the filter before recharging. If the cutout continues on a clean filter, check that the cell voltage reads at least 4.2V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AEG Liliput AG1413 loses suction quickly but the battery light still shows charged — is the new battery faulty?

Not necessarily. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which drags cell voltage down fast under load even though the resting voltage still reads fine. The battery indicator reads resting voltage, so it stays green while actual output sags. Clean the filter thoroughly and retest — if suction holds after that, the cell is working correctly.

The AG1413 motor cuts out after a few seconds of use, then starts again if I wait — what's causing this?

That's the BMS tripping on an overcurrent event, not a faulty cell. Sustained restricted airflow — from a blocked nozzle or dirty filter — pushes the motor's current draw past the BMS cutoff threshold, which shuts the circuit to protect the cell. Clear the nozzle, wash the filter, and let it dry completely before the next charge cycle. If the cutout still happens on a clean filter, confirm the cell reads at least 4.2V after a full charge.

The replacement battery fades noticeably after only a few weeks — it held longer when first installed. What changed?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in this vacuum. Ni-MH cells in the AG1413 format degrade faster under constant trickle charge than they do under normal use-and-charge cycles. Remove the vacuum from the dock as soon as charging is complete rather than leaving it docked between uses. Cycling the cell fully down before recharging — rather than topping it up after short runs — also slows capacity fade on Ni-MH chemistry.
