Fits Binatone Z430BT GPS navigator; replaces OEM battery P603562N.
3.7V, 1300mAh Li-Polymer cell powers the Z430BT through active navigation and route storage without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single retention tab; no forcing required.
We bench-tested this cell on the Z430BT platform; BMS accepted the new pack on first power cycle with no fault delay.
After installing this battery, power on outdoors and let the GPS acquire satellite lock before relying on navigation — cold start after battery swap takes 5–10 minutes for initial fix.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Binatone Z430BT — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (P603562N)

This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Binatone Z430BT portable GPS navigator. It matches the OEM part number P603562N and fits the Z430BT's internal battery slot at 61.50 × 33.50 × 6.00 mm. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a journey.

  • Z430BT fit: The Z430BT runs a single-cell Li-Polymer architecture at 3.7V nominal. This cell matches that voltage rail and the connector pinout, so the device's charge management circuit reads and controls the cell correctly on first boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a GPS navigator test rig. The protection circuit responded correctly to charge termination at 4.2V and engaged undervoltage cutoff before the cell reached damaging depletion depth.
  • Cold-start satellite acquisition after fitting: After fitting this cell, power the Z430BT on outdoors and let it acquire a satellite fix before driving. A full power interruption forces a cold start — the receiver has no stored almanac data and needs 5–10 minutes for first lock versus under a minute on a warm start.

GPS accuracy reduced at low battery on the Z430BT

As cell voltage drops toward the low-battery threshold, some GPS navigators — including units in this class — reduce RF receiver sensitivity to cut current draw. On the Z430BT, this can show as position drift or a wider accuracy radius on the map. The fix is straightforward: keep the device on USB power during long routes, or charge before the battery indicator drops to one bar. A freshly charged cell at 4.2V delivers full receiver headroom from the first fix.

Z430BT shuts off without warning before the battery indicator reads empty

This happens when the battery gauge is no longer calibrated to the actual cell's discharge curve — common after the original cell has aged and capacity has dropped. The device's low-battery threshold triggers at a voltage the old cell hit quickly, but the indicator never caught up. After fitting this replacement, run one full charge-to-cutoff cycle without USB power connected. This lets the fuel gauge re-anchor its empty point to the new cell's actual 3.0V cutoff floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Z430BT lost all my saved routes after I swapped the battery — is that normal?

Yes. The Z430BT stores some route and POI data in RAM that depends on continuous power. A full battery removal clears that volatile memory. Saved favourites stored to internal flash usually survive, but active routes and recent destinations in RAM do not. Re-enter your key destinations after the first boot and save them to the device's favourites list to protect them from future power interruptions.

The Z430BT took nearly 10 minutes to find satellites after the battery swap — is something wrong with the new cell?

Nothing is wrong. After a complete power loss, the GPS receiver loses its stored almanac — the table of satellite positions it uses for a fast fix. It has to download a fresh almanac from scratch, which takes 5–10 minutes with a clear sky view. Subsequent power cycles warm-start in under a minute. Stand outside with an unobstructed sky view on first use and let the fix complete fully before mounting the unit in the car.

The Z430BT drains much faster when I'm actively navigating than when it's just sitting on standby — is the battery faulty?

It is not faulty — this is normal for the device class. Active navigation runs the GPS receiver and the display simultaneously, which draws significantly more current than standby. At maximum screen brightness with continuous route recalculation, the 1300mAh cell works harder than in idle. Reduce screen brightness one or two steps in the display settings and plug into the car's USB port on routes longer than your expected battery duration.
