Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

iGpsport BSC100 / BSC100S — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB363450)
This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-Polymer cell replacing the original AHB363450 inside the iGpsport BSC100 and BSC100S handlebar-mounted cycling computers. It restores full power to the GPS receiver, display, and navigation functions after the original cell has lost capacity through repeated charge cycles. Dimensions are 52.20 × 34.70 × 4.20mm — verify against your existing cell before fitting.
- BSC100 and BSC100S compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector orientation, which is why one cell covers both. The BMS inside each unit reads the same 3.7V nominal and 4.2V charge ceiling — no firmware difference affects battery acceptance between the two variants.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on a BSC100 unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, the charge curve hit 4.2V cleanly, and the GPS receiver powered on without reset loops.
- Cold-start behaviour after fitting: After fitting this cell, power the device on outdoors before your first ride and let it acquire a satellite fix. A full power interruption forces a cold start — first fix can take 5–10 minutes while the unit rebuilds its satellite almanac. Subsequent warm starts drop that to under a minute.
Saved routes disappearing after a battery swap on the BSC100
The BSC100 stores some session data and route segments in volatile memory backed by battery voltage. When the cell is fully removed, that memory loses power and the data is gone — this is a hardware limitation, not a fault with the replacement cell. Before swapping the battery, export any saved routes via the iGpsport app or USB connection to a computer. After fitting the new cell, re-sync routes from the app to restore them to the device.
BSC100 shutting off without warning before the battery indicator hits zero
After a full battery replacement, the fuel gauge inside the BSC100 is uncalibrated against the new cell's discharge curve. The unit's low-battery threshold was tuned to the aged original cell, so it can trigger an abrupt shutdown before the on-screen indicator shows critical. To recalibrate, run the new cell through two full charge and discharge cycles under normal GPS use. After that, the indicator tracking tightens and the visual warning fires with enough margin to save data and end navigation cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions
My BSC100 took over 10 minutes to get a satellite fix after fitting the new battery — is something wrong?
Nothing is wrong. Removing the battery clears the satellite almanac stored in volatile memory, forcing a full cold start on next power-on. The unit needs to download fresh orbital data from scratch, which takes 5–10 minutes outdoors with a clear sky view. Power the device on outside before you ride, let it acquire the fix completely, and every subsequent start will lock in under a minute.
The BSC100 is draining the new battery significantly faster when I use active navigation compared to just the clock screen — why?
Active navigation runs the GPS receiver continuously alongside the backlit display, which together draw far more current than standby mode. Lowering display brightness in the device settings is the single most effective step — the screen is the largest variable load. Keep the backlight on auto or set it to the lowest readable level, and the GPS receiver load becomes the dominant factor rather than the display.
GPS accuracy on the BSC100 has dropped noticeably when the battery is below roughly half charge — tracks are drifting off the road on the map.
Some GPS units reduce receiver sensitivity at lower voltages to protect remaining charge, and the BSC100 exhibits this behaviour. The receiver runs at reduced power once cell voltage sags below around 3.6V under load, which widens the position error. Keep the cell above 50% on long rides where accuracy matters, and ensure the replacement cell is fully charged to 4.2V before heading out — a partial charge compounds the sag effect under GPS load.
