This 3.7V, 240mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Mio MiVue C330 and MiVue C335 dash cameras. It matches OEM part number 402035 (1ICP5/21/36) and fits the physical bay directly. When the factory cell degrades and the camera shuts off unexpectedly or fails to hold charge, this is the direct swap.

• MiVue C330 and C335 fitment: Both models share the same 3.7V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The C335 adds lane departure warnings but draws from the same power rail — this cell covers both without modification.

The MiVue C330 uses a voltage-threshold system to estimate remaining charge. As a lithium-polymer cell ages, its discharge curve flattens and then drops steeply near depletion. The camera's indicator reads adequate charge right up until voltage collapses — so the visual warning never fires before the unit cuts out. A new cell with a fresh capacity curve restores the proper voltage ramp, and the low-battery indicator triggers at the correct threshold again.

Saved routes and POIs missing after battery replacement

Some MiVue firmware stores recent route data and favourites in battery-backed volatile memory. A full power removal — which happens during a battery swap — clears that RAM. Saved POIs stored on the SD card survive the swap, but in-session route history does not. To recover navigation data, restore from any previous SD card backup or re-enter destinations after the first cold-start satellite fix completes.
