Fits TEASI One 2 GPS navigator; replaces OEM part number PL784262.
3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full power to GPS receiver and display without voltage sag during active navigation.
Connector slides into battery slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on device housing and battery casing.
We bench-tested this cell in a One 2 unit — BMS accepted charge at standard rate, voltage held steady through a full navigation session, no early cutoff observed.
After fitting this cell, power the GPS fully on outdoors and allow it to acquire a satellite fix before use — GPS performs a cold start after power interruption that takes 5–10 minutes for first fix versus under a minute for subsequent warm starts.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TEASI One 2 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL784262)

This 3.7V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original PL784262 battery in the TEASI One 2 handheld GPS navigator. The One 2 is a compact outdoor navigation unit used for hiking, trail navigation, and geocaching. Voltage, capacity, and connector position match the original specification.

  • TEASI One 2 fit: The One 2 uses a flat Li-Polymer pouch cell at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches the original cell's footprint at 60.10 × 42.30 × 7.04mm, so the battery seats correctly without clearance issues against the GPS module or display ribbon.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench. The BMS held charge termination correctly at 4.2V and the low-voltage cutoff triggered cleanly before the cell dropped below safe operating range — no false shutoffs during the discharge curve.
  • Cold-start initialisation after fitting: After fitting this cell and powering the One 2 on outdoors, allow the unit to acquire a satellite fix before use. The GPS performs a full cold start after any power interruption, which takes 5–10 minutes for first fix. Subsequent warm starts resolve in under a minute.

GPS accuracy reduced at low battery on the TEASI One 2

Some GPS receivers throttle RF sensitivity when cell voltage drops below a threshold — typically around 3.5V on Li-Polymer cells. The One 2 may show wider position scatter or slower track updates before the low-battery icon appears. This is not a satellite problem; it is the receiver pulling less power from a weakening cell. Replacing the cell restores full receiver sensitivity.

TEASI One 2 shutting off without visual battery warning

The battery indicator on the One 2 is calibrated against the original cell's discharge curve. After extended use, an aged cell voltage sags faster than the indicator tracks, so the unit hits the BMS cutoff threshold before the on-screen warning has time to trigger. This replacement cell restores the correct discharge curve, so the indicator and actual capacity realign. If unexpected shutoffs persist after fitting, perform a full charge to 4.2V and run one complete discharge cycle to let the indicator recalibrate.

Frequently Asked Questions

My TEASI One 2 took over 10 minutes to find satellites after I fitted the new battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. Removing the battery triggers a full cold start, which clears the satellite almanac and last-known position from active memory. The One 2 has to rebuild that data from scratch, which takes 5–10 minutes outdoors with a clear sky view. Once the first fix completes, subsequent warm starts will lock on in under a minute.

I lost my saved routes and POIs after swapping the battery on my TEASI One 2 — can I get them back?

Some navigation data on the One 2 is held in battery-backed volatile memory, not internal flash. A full power removal during a battery swap can clear that data if the handover isn't fast enough. Routes stored to the internal map storage or an SD card are unaffected — check those locations first. Going forward, export routes to an SD card before any battery swap so nothing is at risk.

My TEASI One 2 battery drains noticeably faster when I'm actively navigating than when the unit is just sitting in my pack — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is working correctly. Active navigation runs the GPS receiver and the display simultaneously at full draw, which pulls significantly more current than standby. Reducing display brightness during navigation is the most effective way to extend a charge on the One 2 — the display is typically the larger of the two loads at maximum brightness. The GPS receiver draw stays roughly constant regardless of brightness setting.
