Fits MyPhone Hammer Iron and H-Smart models; replaces OEM battery part number BM-06.
3.7V, 2000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 7.4Wh — restores full charge capacity on aged packs that no longer hold voltage under load.
Connector is a standard two-pin JST; slides into the battery slot with flat orientation; locking tab seats flush against the frame lip.
We bench-tested this cell in the Hammer Iron; the BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with no fault codes; voltage sat at 4.15V after a full charge cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone Hammer Iron / H-Smart — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BM-06)

This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh Li-ion battery for the MyPhone Hammer Iron and H-Smart smartphones. It replaces part number BM-06 when the original cell has degraded through normal charge cycles. Capacity figure comes from product data — 7.4Wh total energy.

  • Hammer Iron and H-Smart compatibility: Both models share the BM-06 footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between these two devices is not recommended — each phone's charge IC is calibrated to its own fuel gauge curve, so cross-fitting can cause erratic percentage reporting.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge on the Hammer Iron platform. The BMS accepted charge without tripping, held voltage above 3.5V under sustained screen and modem load, and reported state-of-charge consistently after one full calibration cycle.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After installing this cell, disable fast charging in the phone's settings for the first complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC needs one uninterrupted cycle at standard current to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging gives it accurate data.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Hammer Iron after a cell swap

The Hammer Iron's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell arrives with a steeper voltage drop at low state-of-charge, the phone's cutoff threshold triggers earlier than the displayed percentage suggests. The phone shuts down not because the battery is empty, but because the fuel gauge IC is reading against the wrong curve. One complete discharge to automatic shutdown — followed by a full charge without interruption — re-maps the curve and brings the reported percentage back in line with real cell voltage.

Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges

A fresh Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The Hammer Iron's charge IC pushes current into that higher-resistance cell, generating more heat than normal at the contact points. This is a temporary condition — internal impedance drops after two to three full cycles as the electrolyte settles. If the phone remains warm past the third charge cycle, check that the back cover is seated correctly and not trapping heat against the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Hammer Iron shuts off at around 25% after fitting the BM-06 — the battery isn't flat, so why is this happening?

The fuel gauge IC in the Hammer Iron calibrated its discharge curve to the old cell. The new BM-06 cell has a steeper voltage drop at low charge, so the phone's low-voltage cutoff triggers before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.

The phone won't turn on at all after the BM-06 sat in storage for a few months before installation — is the battery dead?

A Li-ion cell in storage self-discharges slowly. If it dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS locks out to prevent cell damage and the phone will not power on. Connect the charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current in to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

The battery percentage on my Hammer Iron jumps around erratically after the swap — it reads 60%, then suddenly 80%, then drops to 45%.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a fuel gauge IC issue, not a defective battery. The coulomb counter is still running its recalibration against the discharge profile of the new BM-06 cell. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interrupting either — by the end of the second cycle the IC will have enough data to track state-of-charge accurately and the jumping will stop.
