Fits Robee Emotion cordless vacuum cleaner, replacing OEM battery CS-KSB001VX.
Delivers 14.4V and 2000mAh capacity for consistent motor power throughout cleaning cycles.
Connects via the existing dock connector on the Emotion handle without modification needed.
We bench tested the Ni-MH cell in a full discharge cycle; BMS remained stable through sustained motor load.
Remove this battery from the charging dock immediately after reaching full charge — continuous dock contact degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than periodic charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Robee Emotion — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Robee Emotion cordless vacuum cleaner. It slots into the same bay as the original cell and restores full operating power. Use this when the original pack no longer holds a useful charge or fails to power the motor through a full cleaning cycle.

  • Robee Emotion platform fit: The Emotion shares a single battery bay and connector across its cordless vacuum variants. The 14.4V rail matches what the motor controller expects — drop below that threshold and the BMS cuts output before suction noticeably drops, which is why a worn cell feels like a sudden shutdown rather than a gradual fade.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell under sustained motor load and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour. The pack held voltage within operating range through full discharge cycles, and the BMS tripped correctly on overcurrent without latching — meaning it recovered without a reset after the load cleared.
  • Dock charging habit on the Emotion: Do not leave the Emotion sitting on the charging dock after the pack reaches full. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. Restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit expects. The BMS reads undervoltage and cuts the motor before the indicator LED steps down. Clean or replace the filter first, then test — suction should hold longer before any indicator change.

Battery shows full charge but the Emotion won't power on

A Ni-MH pack that has been deeply discharged — sitting unused for months — can drop below the voltage threshold the charger uses to detect a valid cell. The charger sees what looks like a short circuit and refuses to charge. Some Emotion chargers expect to see at least 10V across the pack before initiating a charge cycle. If the resting voltage is below that, try a brief charge from a compatible Ni-MH charger capable of recovery mode, then return to the dock charger once the pack reads above 10V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Robee Emotion cuts out mid-clean and then starts again after a few seconds — what's causing that?

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the filter is restricted or the brush roll is blocked, the motor pulls more current than the cell's BMS allows, so it cuts output to protect the pack. It resets automatically once the load drops. Turn off the vacuum, clear any blockage from the brush roll, and clean the filter — if the cutout stops after that, the cell is fine.

The Emotion runs for a much shorter time than it used to, even with the new battery fully charged — why?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. Restricted airflow makes the motor work harder, which increases current draw well above the rated load — the cell depletes faster even though capacity is unchanged. Check and clean the filter before assuming the battery is at fault. If suction and runtime both improve after a filter clean, the cell was not the problem.

The previous battery developed capacity fade quickly after only a few months — how do I prevent that with the replacement?

Continuous dock charging is the main cause of premature capacity fade in Ni-MH cordless vacuums. Trickle charge held across a full cell degrades cell chemistry faster than normal cycling. Charge the Emotion fully, then unplug or remove it from the dock — do not use the dock as a permanent storage cradle. Repeat charge-only-when-depleted cycles and the pack should hold capacity significantly longer.
