Fits Klarstein CleanTouch and XR210C models; replaces OEM part NS3000D03X3.
14.4V Ni-MH pack at 3500mAh delivers steady voltage to the motor throughout the cleaning cycle.
Connector slides straight into the dock housing with a positive locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell on the Klarstein charger; BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH packs on trickle charge degrade capacity fast; charge fully and remove.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SAMBA CleanTouch Klarstein / XR210C — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (NS3000D03X3)

This is a 14.4V 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Klarstein CleanTouch and XR210C cordless vacuum cleaners. It slots in where the original pack has degraded or failed outright, restoring the vacuum to full operating voltage. Capacity is rated at 3500mAh (50.4Wh) — matching the original specification.

  • CleanTouch and XR210C compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V cell arrangement with an identical connector and BMS handshake profile. One pack covers both — no pin remapping or voltage adjustment needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and charge sequences on a CleanTouch unit. The BMS responded correctly to the charger handshake, current draw stayed within rated limits, and the protection circuit triggered cleanly at low-cell threshold.
  • Dock charging habit on the CleanTouch: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge accelerates capacity fade on Ni-MH cells faster than on lithium packs. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the battery can sustain at its present state of charge — voltage sags under load even though the indicator reads mid-range. A partially blocked filter compounds the problem: restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher current and triggering the sag earlier. Clean the filter first, then test again. If suction still drops early, the cell pack has lost capacity and needs replacement — a healthy pack holds above 12.8V under full motor load.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or a tight carpet pile — the motor stalls momentarily and current spikes above the BMS threshold. The protection circuit opens, the motor stops, and it resets after the internal timer clears. Check and clear the filter and nozzle before assuming a battery fault. If cut-outs persist on a clear filter, the cell pack can no longer sustain the current the motor demands at 14.4V and replacement is the fix.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Klarstein CleanTouch lose suction halfway through a clean even though the battery light still shows green?

The indicator measures voltage at rest — it does not account for voltage sag under motor load. When the cells age or a filter restriction forces the motor to draw more current, voltage drops below what the motor needs to maintain full suction, even mid-charge. Clean the filter first — a blocked filter alone can cause this. If the problem persists on a clear filter, the cell pack can no longer hold voltage under load and needs replacing.

My Klarstein CleanTouch motor keeps cutting out and restarting on its own — what is causing that?

That is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, then resetting once the circuit clears. It happens when airflow is restricted — a blocked nozzle or a clogged filter stalls the motor briefly, current spikes, and the protection circuit opens. Clear the nozzle and wash the filter, then test again. If cut-outs continue on a clean, unobstructed vacuum, the pack can no longer deliver the sustained current the motor pulls at 14.4V — replace the battery.

My new replacement battery is fading faster than expected after a few months — did I get a faulty cell?

Most early capacity fade on Ni-MH cordless vacuum packs comes from continuous dock charging, not a faulty cell. Leaving the vacuum on the dock after it is fully charged runs a trickle current through the cells indefinitely, which degrades them significantly faster than normal charge cycles. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Charge only when the vacuum is depleted, and capacity will hold much longer across the cell pack's cycle life.
