Fits ROBOT RBC003, RBC006, RBC009, RBC011 cordless vacuum models as OEM replacement battery.
14.4V Ni-MH pack at 3500mAh capacity delivers sustained voltage to motor and brush under standard carpet load.
Connector slides vertically into battery slot with single locking tab — verify tab orientation before full insertion.
Pack cycled through full discharge and recharge on RBC003 platform — BMS accepted charge without fault code.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — dock trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ROBOT RBC003 / RBC006 / RBC009 / RBC011 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the ROBOT RBC003, RBC006, RBC009, and RBC011 cordless vacuum cleaners. It slots into the battery compartment and powers both the suction motor and brush drive. When the original cell can no longer hold a useful charge, this replacement restores full operating voltage to the vacuum.

  • RBC series compatibility: The RBC003, RBC006, RBC009, and RBC011 all run the same 14.4V battery platform with a shared connector and matching BMS voltage thresholds — that is why one cell covers the range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and recharge on a 14.4V Ni-MH test rig. The BMS held cutoff correctly at low voltage and the cell recovered charge without error flags across multiple cycles.
  • Dock charging habit on the RBC series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. These Ni-MH cells develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge. Charge to full and remove from the dock — reconnect only when the vacuum needs another charge.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells under motor load show a voltage sag that the indicator circuit does not always catch in real time. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated, pulling cell voltage down faster than the indicator reflects. The vacuum loses suction noticeably while the light still reads mid-charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. Sustained restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or brush roll jam — forces the motor to draw beyond the BMS current limit, which cuts power to protect the cell. The BMS resets after a short thermal delay, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear the blockage and verify brush roll spin is unobstructed before assuming the battery is at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ROBOT RBC003 has a new battery but it still won't charge — the indicator just flashes and stops.

Some RBC series chargers expect the battery's BMS to return a specific handshake voltage before committing to a full charge cycle. If the cell arrived deeply discharged from storage, the charger may reject it at the first check. Connect the battery, let it sit on charge for 20–30 minutes without interrupting it, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — this gives the BMS time to rise above the charger's minimum acceptance threshold of approximately 12V.

The vacuum runs for a much shorter time than it used to even with the new battery — what is causing that?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause. When airflow is restricted, the motor draws significantly more current than rated to maintain suction, which drains the 3500mAh cell faster than normal. Remove and clean the filter, check the brush roll for hair wrap, then run a full charge-to-depletion cycle. If runtime improves, the battery is fine — the load was the problem.

The battery I replaced six months ago is already losing capacity — it fades noticeably faster than when it was new.

Continuous dock charging is the most likely cause. Ni-MH cells degrade faster than Li-ion under sustained trickle current, and the RBC series dock does not cut power completely when the battery reaches full. Remove the vacuum from the dock once the charge indicator shows full and only return it when the battery is depleted. This single change is the most effective way to slow capacity fade on these cells.
