Fits Vileda Quick & Clean vacuum cleaner, replaces OEM part 8654396211.
This 3.7V lithium-ion cell delivers 2600mAh capacity to restore motor power on the VI409842 model.
Battery slides into the charging dock slot with connector pin contact; no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this pack on the Vileda charger — BMS accepted handshake on first dock insertion, voltage held steady under sustained motor draw.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently — continuous dock charge degrades capacity significantly faster than charge-when-depleted cycles; remove from dock once full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vileda Quick & Clean — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (8654396211)

This is a 3.7V 2600mAh lithium-ion battery for the Vileda Quick & Clean cordless vacuum cleaner (VI409842). It replaces OEM part 8654396211 and fits directly into the vacuum's battery compartment. Capacity is rated at 9.62Wh — identical to the original specification.

  • Quick & Clean and VI409842 compatibility: Both model references share the same motor voltage rail, battery compartment dimensions, and BMS handshake protocol. The 3.7V cell is the correct voltage for the motor controller — fitting a higher-voltage cell trips the protection circuit and prevents startup.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Quick & Clean's charge cycle and confirmed the BMS accepted the handshake without fault flags. The motor controller reached full operating speed and the charge indicator behaved as expected on the dock.
  • Dock charging practice for the Quick & Clean: This vacuum's dock applies a trickle charge continuously when connected. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete. Leaving it docked permanently accelerates capacity fade on the 3.7V Li-ion cell faster than normal discharge cycles would.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The Quick & Clean's motor controller reduces power output when cell voltage sags under load — this happens before the indicator registers low. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which accelerates the voltage drop. The BMS interprets this as a low-cell condition and throttles output. Clean or replace the filter first, then check whether suction holds steady under normal carpet load.

Motor cuts out briefly then restarts during use

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or heavy carpet fibres — the motor draws a sustained current spike above the cell's rated limit. The BMS opens the discharge circuit to protect the cell, then resets after a few seconds. Clear the blockage, check the filter, and confirm the nozzle is unobstructed before restarting.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vileda Quick & Clean seems to lose suction well before the battery indicator shows it's low — is the battery the problem?

Not always — a restricted filter causes the motor to draw more current than rated, which makes cell voltage sag under load even when the battery still has charge remaining. The motor controller reads that sag as a low-cell condition and reduces power. Clean or replace the filter before writing off the battery. If suction holds after cleaning the filter, the cell is fine.

The motor on my Quick & Clean cuts out for a few seconds then comes back on its own — what's causing that?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. When the nozzle or filter is partially blocked, the motor pulls a sustained current spike that exceeds the cell's rated discharge limit, and the BMS opens the circuit to protect the cell. It resets automatically after a short pause. Check the nozzle for blockages and inspect the filter — clearing the restriction stops the trip from recurring.

My replacement battery fades noticeably faster than the original did — could leaving it on the dock be the cause?

Yes. The Quick & Clean dock applies a continuous trickle charge when the vacuum is connected, and 3.7V Li-ion cells degrade faster under sustained trickle current than they do from regular charge-discharge cycles. Remove the vacuum from the dock once the charge indicator shows full. Charge only when the battery is depleted, and the cell will hold its rated 2600mAh capacity significantly longer.
